This seascape painting of a rocky section of the Mediterranean coast of France, where I grew up, depicts a storm at sea.
"Storm's Embrace" is a dynamic seascape which embodies the raw energy and intensity of the ocean during a turbulent storm. The crashing waves, dark rocks, and ominous sky create a powerful scene. The strong, uncontrollable movement of the waves and the current of the sea can be felt through the brush strokes.
