Still life of terracotta pot and flowers
This still life painting depicts an old style terracotta carafe with a snuffed-out candle, and greenish candle wax running down the side.
I placed the carafe on a coil mat with pink wildflowers next to it, and the whole subject is on a green velvet cloth.
The burnt-out candle signifies the end of an era, and the flowers signify hope for a new future.
